Razorblades and Bubblegum
A clock strikes two in the bubblegum tower
A knife shines pink in the light
A girl sits pretty in the seat of power
A cold throne of blades in the night
She is held in a magical bubble of time
That cradles her pieces in place
For with every move of her body, thin lines
Cut her skin into patterns of lace
Such is the price for her sparkling crown
And her jewels of candy-floss hue
The courtiers all pretend she would never jump down
Their never-dead martyr; Mary Sue
A clock strikes two like a hammer on glass
It never reaches three
Rose-coloured eyes watch the second hand pass
And pass back, and pass back, and she bleeds.
